The hard work is done now that you have the painting done.
The glass pieces have dried overnight, now it is time to bake the finish onto the glass. This is much the same process as firing only the temperature is much lower so the glass doesn’t melt.
Put the glassware into a cold oven.
Set the oven temp to 340 degrees then set the timer to 40 minutes. When the timer goes off, leave the glass in the oven 5 more minutes then take it out to cool.
I bake it this way so the glass warms up slowly and therefore won’t break in the “firing” process.
When the glass is cool to the touch display it as you wish. Since this project is a gift I’m going to put it in a gift basket for the bride and groom.
