I love hand tooled leather especially when it is unique. Since I tool leather I can make what ever I want. I saw a lazy susan on my friends kitchen table when my husband and I were guests for dinner. The food for the dinner was served off of the piece and it was extremely efficient. So here is my rendition of the lazy susan. You will be getting the lesson in a few posts.
First, cut out the leather the size of the piece you are covering.
Second, draw your pattern on wet leather with a ball tipped stylus and cut it with your swivel knife. Keep the leather damp while you are working on it.
Check out previous leather blog posts for details and pics of the tools.
